This trail is located at Chewhaw Park (105 Chehaw Park Rd, Albany, GA 31701) . This is a local favorite with an 11 mile mountain bike trail with plenty of other activities to do at the park. The trail head is located near the BMX course.
It has everything you need for a good run. The Restrooms are available at the trail head near the BMX park (additional family restrooms are available in the campground and playground areas). Each restroom area has a water fountain. A vending machine IS located by the playground. Ample parking is available throughout the park. $3.00 parking fee per vehicle. I recommend getting a membership if you plan on using the park regularly. Membership includes park entrance to not just the trails but also the Zoo, BMX track, RCA track, Playground, Horse trail, and Fishing area.
Running consists of 99% single track. Mostly non-technical, you will run through packed sandy soil, pine stands, fields and swampy bottoms with very little elevation change. There are no rocks, but there are sections with modest amounts of roots. The course is runnable in road shoes, but you may want trail shoes to make roots more comfortable to run through. The trails are maintained by awesome volunteers and the park. They are constantly making improvements and adding new areas to the trail.
The trail is one main loop with several extensions that lead back to the main trail. The trail is marked with arrows and dots. Each of the 4 color dots has a different length ranging from 1 mile to 11 miles. There are currently mile markers out for several of these loops. Follow these loops or just remix your own course. It is hard to get lost since all the loops lead back to the main trail. You aren't in the deep wilderness like at a lot of parks so if you do get lost you can follow a service road, mini rail road tracks, or just walk straight through the woods and be on the main road for the park.

*you can also get 10 miles by cutting off "raw ass" between miles 8 & 9 (field loop near the front of the park when you are about to cross the road close to mile 9).
